1.Monofilament yarn Description:
Polyester monofilament fishing line is also called transparent thread. The two components of transparent thread is nylon monofilament .
o Excellent quilting thread
o Easy to use
o Free motion or with feed dogs
o Usually doesn't require a lot of tension adjustments
o Easy on machine: won't wear on tension spring like many other invisible threads
o Wonderful for applique, heirloom quilting, beadwork, couching and serging
o Invisible nylon won't fade to be yellow with ages or become brittle
o Stitches won't shine: invisible nylon seems to disappear into fabric
o Invisible nylon is as soft as hair
o Can not poke but extremely strong
o When finished, project can be dry-cleaned or machine washed and dried
o Finished projects can be ironed or pressed (set iron on steam medium heat, just as would for any nice fabric)
There are paper tubes and Z tubes and spools. They are usually packed in 120g/spool, 900g/tube, or 1000g/tube
